  • I’m not an elite runner. Can a coach help me?
Yes. With some simple structure and consistency to your running and the addition of some training tools, you can increase your efficiency as a runner, improve your technique and take your sport to a whole new satisfying level.
  • Can I insert an image, video, or gif in my FAQ?
Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Enter the app’s Settings 2. Click on the “Manage FAQs” button 3. Select the question you would like to add media to 4. When editing your answer click on the camera, video, or GIF icon 5. Add media from your library.
  • What if I miss a session?
Be prepared for the wrath ( just kidding). Sometimes life gets in the way. Usually you can make the session up later in the week, but if not, move on - you'll be fresher for the next run! Your coach isn’t there to chastise you when you have the odd slip up, but a great coach will motivate you to make your training a priority so the results come naturally.
  • I don’t really have a goal race or time. Is it still worth having a coach?
Absolutely! If you spend any time out there running, a coach can improve your efficiency in training, eliminate junk miles and help you improve the technique and structure of your running to avoid injury and help you enjoy your sport even more!
  • How long should I sign up for?
That depends on your goals and expectations. If your plan is to smash next year’s marathon or ultra, we’d recommend at least six months to allow plenty of time to build a good solid base of fitness and endurance before the actual marathon training even starts. If you just need a kickstart to your running and some structure, two or three months might be enough. We recommend you reassess every two months and chat to your coach about how you are tracking and what lies ahead.
  • Do I need a coach?
Coaching may improve your running if you: - would like to progress your running with improvements in fitness, endurance - lack consistency in training - need some direction to progress your running - have been doing the same thing for months or years have stopped improving - struggle with running jargon and how to use different types of training sessions - are constantly injured - don’t have access to other experienced runners to bounce ideas off
  • What will I gain from having an online running coach?
Knowledge - there is technique and science behind successful training as a runner. Combined, these things will help you improve, avoid injury and build fitness and strength. Your coach will have the tools and information to guide you as you increase your speed and/or distance safely. A sounding board - having someone to bounce your training questions and ideas off is invaluable, especially when you are slogging it out day after day. Experience - You will benefit from the wealth of different running experience your coach brings to the table. From track work to ultra trails and everything in between, if your coach has ‘been around the block a couple of times’, you will have a wealth of running experience in many scenarios and conditions, at your disposal. Accountability - you’ll be far less likely to miss a training run if you know someone’s waiting to see how it all went down. Having to answer to someone eliminates the procrastination factor. Goals - are your goals realistic and achievable? What’s your plan to achieve them? You online running coach has the answers, so you don’t have to worry. Flexibility - having an on-line running coach often means greater flexibility in fitting training sessions into your schedule. You aren’t physically meeting someone for coaching sessions, so often you change up where and when you do the sessions. Remote access - if you live out in the country or travel often for work, online coaching is a perfect solution because it gives you direct access to a qualified and knowledgeable coach wherever you are - your coach is always accessible and your training plans are always available.

  • What is an FAQ section?
An FAQ section can be used to quickly answer common questions about you or your business, such as “Where do you ship to?”, “What are your opening hours?” or “How can I book a service?” It’s a great way to help people navigate your site and can even boost your site’s SEO.
